On Saturday, January 21st, 2017, CHS and the Magnet program hosted the Camas Girls in STEM Conference for middle school girls. We had over 45 female professionals in the STEM field who helped to make this event happen, along with 31 of our high school girls who devoted their Saturday to encourage young women to consider a career in a STEM field. It was a hoot of a day being inspired and challenged. By the way, the photo of Mrs. Newman holding the brains? Yes, those are human brains…eek!
